Membership is open to people over 18 years

Once you decide you need the assistance Toastmasters can offer you can then decide on the Club of your choice. There are many Clubs and they meet at different times of the day from early in the morning to late at night.

Take your time and visit as many clubs as you can, as each club has it's own personality. There will be a club which will suit you. If you require more information on other clubs in NSW ask one of our members or go to www.d70toastmasters.org and all your needs will be available.

There are costs involved and they vary according to the time of the year you join. There is a once only membership cost which registers you with the world headquarters for life. Even if you take a brake for a few years and return to another club, you do not pay the registration fee again. Subscriptions are paid twice a year, collected in March and September each year. Most clubs also have a small meeting administration cost paid at each meeting

There are forms available from each club which when submitted will cement you into a most enjoyable way of learning and will lead to you being a better, more confident, you.

New Members $50.00 New Member Joining Fee (once in a lifetime) + $10.00 per month paid on a pro-rated basis for the first few months (this covers you for the period until the semi-annuals are due). A $50.00 semi-annual fee (paid every 6 months) is paid from then on,

So the fee for the amount you pay in the first few months varies depending on when you join. So if you join in: October or April: $50 New Member Fee + $50 semi-annual = $100.00 November or May: $50 New Member Fee + $40.00 pro-rated = $90.00 December or June: $50 New Member Fee + $30.00 pro-rated = $80.00. January or July: $50 New Member Fee + $20.00 pro-rated = $70.00 February or August: $50 New Member Fee + $10.00 pro-rated = $60.00 March or September: $50 New Member Fee + $50 semi-annual = $100.00 Semi-annual dues are collected from all members in September and March of each year. Note: Semi Annual fees paid to Toastmasters are Tax deductable. The club also has a $4.00 per meeting admistration cost payable on the night by members.
